I never set out to create a zombie apocalypse universe. It was actually the furthest thing from my mind. Anyone who knows me knows that I hate zombies: zombie movies, zombie novels, zombie fanfiction, zombie anything. It’s a thing. I know and admit this.
But then I got woken up from a sound sleep on the morning of 17 March 2017 to zombies in my head. I cursed the brain gremlins most of the day, but eventually I ended up sharing the idea with Katsuko… who loved it, despite also not liking zombies.
So here it is: a zombie apocalypse universe from two writers who don’t actually like zombies.
